FAQs

Constable Burton Hall and Gardens are only open to the public on a limited number of days in the year, as the estate is a private family home.
The gardens are open on select dates throughout spring and summer, and we run a programme of additional events throughout this time.
The house is not open to the public except by prior arrangement for group tours.
Please visit the ‘What’s On’ page of our website to find out more information on opening times, or to enquire about booking a group house or garden tour.
-
House and garden tours are available to book by prior arrangement. We request a minimum group size of 20.
Tours include the principal state rooms of Constable Burton Hall and are led, where possible, by a family member who will give a personal insight into the family history and the property. The tour of the gardens will be taken by the garden consultant who has an extensive knowledge of the gardens and its trees, and new planting in particular.
We also have a range of refreshment options available to pre-book ranging from arrival tea & coffee through to a 2-course lunch with wine.
Please contact estate@constableburton.com to enquire.

Although the Hall is a private home where the family live full time, we are happy to discuss the possibility of private hire for special events, including weddings. Please fill out the website contact form with your details and we will get back to you with the information you require.
